become a trustee

WYEC is looking for potential Trustees who are happy to apply their experience and expertise in strategic planning and operational support to the Trustee Board and the management team. To build on our success to date and further develop the centre and its innovative way of supporting budding entrepreneurs.

We are particularly looking for individuals from the local community who are young and/or have an understanding or specialist knowledge of environmental issues, marketing and PR, legal, human resources, ICT, politics, venture capital, enterprise/social investment and the voluntary/community sector.

The position of Trustee would ideally suit a person who lives locally in Tooting or within the borough of Wandsworth and:

  • Has the time to commit to meetings
  • Can empathise with the needs of young people
  • Impart their expertise to further develop the organisation
  • Who appreciates that Trusteeship has legal duties and responsibilities
