governance
WYEC is governed by a Board of Trustees, who volunteer their time and expertise to guide the development of the charity, and support the work of the Chief Executive and staff.
There is a main governing Board:
Wandsworth Youth Enterprise Centre (WYEC), the charitable company and it’s trading subsidiary Wandsworth Youth Enterprise Services Ltd (WYES)
Plus two subsidiary boards:
Trident Business Centre (TBC) a wholly owned commercial company.
Enterprise Development Worldwide (EDW), a Community Interest Company.
WYEC and TBC have separate Boards of Trustees. EDW has a Board of Directors who support the work of the EDW Chief Executive and staff. The Boards are drawn from the local community, industry, commerce and from the voluntary and statutory sectors.
The WYEC and TBC Boards represent a broad range of pertinent expertise and experience in small business development, training, management, voluntary sector, finance etc. The Board of Trustees meets every six to eight weeks.
